    Work Health & Safety (WHS)

Take reasonable care of your own health and safety while at work. Ensure your actions or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others in the workplace.

If you are in a managerial or supervisory role, you have an additional responsibility to lead by example, promote a culture of safety, and ensure that your team complies with all WHS policies and procedures.

The term "worker" under the WHS Act includes employees, contractors, sub-contractors, graduates, and volunteers working for a Commonwealth or non-Commonwealth licensee business or undertaking.
