This page provides the official list of the department’s consultations and statutory public notices (those that are open for feedback); statutory notifications (those that are for information only); and links to key topics with ongoing notifications.
In 2021, amendments to the Financial Accountability Act 2009 require Queensland Government agencies to publish information, public notices and advertising required by State law online. This is a change from the previous requirement to publish in print.
While there are some exemptions to the online publishing measure, allowing for print publication in limited circumstances, a corresponding online listing will also be published on this page.

Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is proposing to construct an additional road bridge between Bribie Island and the mainland, near the southern end of Pumicestone Passage within the Moreton Bay Marine Park. To allow for a marine park permit to be considered for the major works required to construct the proposed bridge, TMR has sought an amendment to the Marine Parks (Moreton Bay) Zoning Plan 2019 to modify the current zoning and establish a works area within the proposed bridge corridor.

We’re reviewing the Nature Conservation (Macropod) Conservation Plan 2017, which is set to expire on 1 September 2027.
The Consultation paper: Sunset review of the Nature Conservation (Macropod) Conservation Plan 2017 outlines key focus areas for consideration, including opportunities to:
• streamline and modernise reporting and administrative processes
• ensure regulatory systems are appropriate and proportionate
• continue to safeguard conservation and welfare standards.

The EA application relates to the Big Vein South Gold Project (the Project) that involves the construction, operation and decommissioning of an open cut gold mine on a greenfield site in North Queensland. The proposed mine is located approximately 100km north of Richmond and 380km west of Townsville.
The project will produce up to approximately 1.95 million tonnes per annum of Run of Mine (ROM) gold ore. The ore will be processed on site to produce gold doré (solid bars containing gold alloy). The mine will yield up to approximately 100,000 ounces of gold doré per annum. Gold doré bars will be transported from the mine site via plane to a refinery.
The resource activity is proposed to occur on the following tenure(s) and will involve:

Following the recent passage of the Waste Reduction and Recycling (Strengthening the Container Refund Scheme) Amendment Act 2026, the Queensland Government is now seeking feedback on supporting regulatory amendments. The department is consulting on a draft Waste Reduction and Recycling (Strengthening the Container Refund Scheme) Amendment Regulation 2026 which prescribes matters and gives effect to the operation of the Amendment Act.

Stanmore ID Extension Pty Ltd. propose to develop the Isaac Downs Extension project, an open cut coal mine pit, as an extension of the Isaac Downs Mine (IDM) and part of the Isaac Plains Complex. Clean Energy Fuels Australia Marketing Pty Ltd has applied for an environmental authority to construct and operate a small-scale Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production facility. The proposed site is 41km north of Moranbah, in the Isaac Regional Council area, within a mining lease operated by the Centurion Coal Mine. The facility will process up to 1.46 petajoules of incidental coal mine waste gas (ICMWG) annually, converting it into LNG for transport to regional Queensland for industrial use or regasification and injection into the Queensland natural gas pipeline, increasing the supply of gas to the domestic market. This project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and lowering the overall carbon footprint of the Centurion Coal Mine and its surrounding operations.
