Australia Pacific LNG Pty Ltd has lodged an application for a major amendment to an environmental authority in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The environmental authority being amended is EPPG00968013 and relates to the proposed construction and operation of 46 production wells and associated infrastructure / activities (including but not limited to gas and water gathering infrastructure, access tracks and electrical and communication infrastructure), and stimulation of production wells otherwise authorised for exploration and appraisal wells.

It is advised that Australia Pacific LNG Pty Ltd has lodged an application for a major amendment to an environmental authority in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The environmental authority being amended is EPPG00968013.

The application relates to the proposed construction and operation of 46 production wells and associated infrastructure / activities (including but not limited to gas and water gathering infrastructure, access tracks and electrical and communication infrastructure), and stimulation of production wells otherwise authorised for exploration and appraisal wells. The resource activity is proposed to occur over a nominal 30 year operational period on petroleum lease (PL) 1106 and over lots including 10&11RG354, 23&80RG644, 14RP206170, 17&18RG54, 8&9RG56, 19RG57, 6&7RG58, 21RG58, 22&24RG59, 32RG60, 40RG91, 24-29RP210648, 32RP210648, 6RG61, 1&2RG79, and 7SP177968. The resource activity will involve production of natural gas for processing at existing facilities for the Australia Pacific LNG Project in the adjacent Condabri development area. The application provides an assessment of relevant environmental values including Prescribed Environmental Matters, Matters of State Environmental Significance, Category B and C Environmentally Sensitive Areas, groundwater, and acoustics.

  • be written or made electronically
  • state the name and address of each submitter
  • be made to the administering authority stated above
  • be received on or before the last day of the submission period
  • state the grounds of the submission and the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds.
