An application has been received for the entry of additional land in the Queensland Heritage Register to the following State Heritage Place: Heritage Register Number (HRN): 601175 North Pine (Petrie) School of Arts and Tom Petrie Memorial.

Under the provisions of s.39 of the Queensland Heritage Act 1992, the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (the department) gives public notice that an application has been received for the entry in the Queensland Heritage Register of the following as a State Heritage Place:

Heritage Register Number (HRN): 601175
North Pine (Petrie) School of Arts and Tom Petrie Memorial
1018–1030 Anzac Avenue, Petrie

Any person or entity may write a submission to the chief executive about this application. Under s.42 of the Act, a heritage submission must be made on the basis that the place which is the subject of the application does or does not satisfy the cultural heritage criteria.

A copy of the application can be viewed on Queensland Heritage Register applications or by contacting the department’s Heritage Branch on 13 QGOV (13 74 68).
