The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation has located and seized an unauthorised structure within Curtis Island National Park.

The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation has located an unauthorised structure at 23 31.2925S 151 9.7430E within Curtis Island National Park.

This building of this structure is an offence under S114 of the Nature Conservation (Protected Area Management) Regulations 2024.

The structure has been seized on the 6 January 2025 under S234 of the Nature Conservation Act 1992.

If you are the owner of this structure you have until the 6 March 2025 to contact the Department and claim ownership. After this date the structure will be removed and disposed of.
