Queensland’s Science and Innovation Strategy
Ensuring our economy is built for the future
Great ideas deserve the opportunity to grow, thrive and make a difference.
Together, science and innovation can transform knowledge into solutions, unlock productivity, growth and help generate new industries that will deliver lasting benefits for Queensland. To cement our future as a leader, we must build on our strong foundations by taking bold action, focusing on emerging technologies, and creating a coordinated, purpose-driven innovation system that drives economic growth and resilience.
The Queensland Government is developing a science and innovation strategy to create jobs, boost our regions and industries, attract investment, and solve challenges.
Input from industry, universities, researchers, and the community is critical to shape a strategy that works for Queensland.

- universities and research organisations
- peak bodies
