The Queensland Government’s Tourism AI Adoption Program is designed for tourism businesses that want practical help to implement AI in their business.

AI is rapidly changing how travellers discover and compare tourism experiences.

Visitors are increasingly using AI to research destinations, plan itineraries and decide where to stay, and what to do. At the same time, AI is creating practical opportunities for tourism businesses to save time, improve customer communication, improve online visibility and make day-to-day operations easier.

The Queensland Government has engaged Tourism Tribe to deliver this program. Successful applicants will receive:

  • an individual AI digital health check for their business
  • a practical two-part online workshop series
  • two hours of personalised one-on-one mentoring
  • a tailored AI action plan for their business
  • 12 months of Tourism Tribe LifeRaft membership and access to AI learning resources, practical courses, group tech sessions and support
  • information on relevant Queensland-based AI hub events and learning opportunities.

This is a structured implementation program that helps you understand where your business is now, decide what matters most and take action with expert support.

The full value of this program is $1,810 (plus GST), however, as the program is subsidised by the Queensland Government, the cost to successful participants is a one-off payment of $200 (plus GST).

Applications for the program are now open and the program information and the expression of interest form are available on Tourism Tribe’s program page. Applications close on Tuesday 10 November 2026.
